Privacy Policy

DGT Test in English (“we”, “us”) is an independent study tool operated by Duncan Mackintosh. This policy explains what data we collect and how we use it.

What we collect

We collect only what is necessary to provide the service:

• Account information — your email address and a hashed password when you register.
• Study activity — which questions you have answered, whether your answers were correct, and which practice sessions and mock exams you have completed. This is used to personalise your progress view and repair plan.
• Session data — a short-lived cookie that keeps you logged in.

We do not collect payment card details. Payments are processed separately via email and bank transfer.

How we use it

• To provide and improve the service.
• To respond to support requests sent to [email protected].
• To contact you if there is a service issue that affects your account.

We do not sell your data, share it with third parties for marketing, or use it for advertising.

Data storage

Data is stored on servers within the European Union. Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes — we cannot read them.

Your rights

You can request a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing [email protected]. We will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. No tracking cookies, no analytics third-parties.
